Smoky Southwestern Dry Rub

My buffalo bites post the other day got me thinking about Buffalo Wild Wings and my favorite flavor they had, smoky southwestern. It was discontinued decades ago, but I never forgot about it. This version can be made with or without the salt and sugar.



1 tablespoon chili powder

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1 teaspoon chipotle powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon sugar, optional

1 teaspoon smoked salt, optional

1 teaspoon black pepper


Mix everything together really well and store in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place.
